California Gallery West (dba Furniture Forum) was founded in 1981 by Ernest (Ernie) Legnitto. It all started with his first furniture business located on Union Street in San Francisco, CA and he was in the business for more than 70 years. Throughout the years, Ernie continued to provide the highest quality furnishings to some of the most prestigious clients, and turned his passion into a family business.
For more than 35 years, Ernie’s son, Bob Legnitto and his daughter, Christina DeMartini, have worked together to continue to provide personalized buying assistance and interior design services for commercial and residential clients.
In 2020, Ernie and Bob retired and the company transitioned with Christina taking over as the Owner of Furniture Forum, LLC., leading the family legacy on a new path.
